Mex Mission is a small missionary group dedicated to sharing God’s Love with others. We seek to comfort, help and minister to those in need, endeavoring to follow the model of Jesus, who said His ministry was to “preach the Gospel to the poor . . . to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18 & 19)
13 years ago Mex Mission was launched for the purpose of helping the poor and the needy of our neighboring nation and reaching them with God’s Love.
Our efforts to accomplish this purpose include the following actions and programs:
We are engaged in an active program of delivering food and clothing to the poor throughout Mexico City and now Puerto Vallarta. One such project is the San Vicente Orphanage in Mexico City to which we deliver food and clothing weekly and where we offer hope and encouragement regularly to some 175 orphans.
We serve as volunteers in food lines that serve meals to thousands of Mexico’s poor.
We also serve as staff, drivers, cooks and representatives to gather food, clothing and toys for distribution at food lines and other distribution points.
Our band and show performs at orphanages, prisons and poor barrios throughout Mexico.
We hold regular youth outreach meetings at our center located in the heart of Mexico City.
We engage in active witnessing. Our witnessing teams are spearheaded by members of our singing and performing group. Last year we distributed over 50,000 pieces of gospel literature in addition to 70,000 photo pages depicting our message of hope and encouragement. We led over 2,000 souls to receive Jesus into their hearts!
We conduct expo booths at trade shows and exhibitions at which we present educational and inspirational materials ranging from interactive computer programs to videos and music CDs and cassettes for children, all of which convey a powerful Christian message.
All of these volunteer and other help projects are carried out with the intent of not only helping those in need physically, but more importantly to give forth the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. We endeavor to convey God’s message of love and salvation by means of music, Gospel literature, one on one personal witnessing, and by a sample of living for Jesus.
